Dragan Ozren

I wrote a short biographical article for Historical Materialism about Dragan Ozren, an under-researched Yugoslav communist organizer from the interwar period. The article explores Ozren’s transnational intellectual ties, his life in the USSR (including his alleged conflict with Josip Broz Tito), and his support for Stalin in 1948, which resulted in his imprisonment and untimely demise on Goli otok in 1951.
